Indonesian Stars Fabio Asher, Nadhif Basalamah Thrill 5,000 Fans at KL Concert

Indonesian singers Fabio Asher and Nadhif Basalamah captivated an audience of around 5,000 fans at the "Rumah Hati" concert in Kuala Lumpur, showcasing their surging popularity in Malaysia. The event, held at the Mega Star Arena, saw an overwhelming turnout, with the venue nearly full, a significant step up from their previous concerts which typically accommodated 500 to 2,000 attendees.

Fans, predominantly under 30, arrived early, many dressed in red and white themes, demonstrating their enthusiastic support. The concert's success served as a powerful testament to the widespread appeal of the "galau" or melancholy music genre, proving it has a dedicated following in Malaysia beyond its viral status on social media.

For Nadhif Basalamah, the concert was a particularly meaningful experience in Kuala Lumpur. "I've lost count of how many times I've come here, but this time is very different," he shared. "Seeing 5,000 people come just for this concert is a feeling that's hard to describe. Thank you for coming."

He also introduced a new dream guitar during the performance and shared the stage with Fabio Asher to perform "Semusim," a song originally by Tohpati and popularized by Marcell. "It's a blessing for me to have the opportunity to re-sing this song. Tonight makes me fall even more in love with Kuala Lumpur," Nadhif added.

Fabio Asher, known for his powerful vocals and emotional songs, delivered a strong performance despite admitting to feeling unwell. "Sorry if my voice sounds a bit off, but I promise to give my best for you," he told the audience. "I read all the messages sent via social media. I've reviewed all your song requests, which is why tonight I'm performing some songs I rarely sing. If anyone wants to cry tonight, please do. I'm here to help you release your emotions through my songs."

The concert, spanning over two hours, featured 23 songs, including several duet segments that were highlights of the evening. Even with minor sound system disruptions, the audience's engagement remained high, singing along and cherishing each performance. The artists also took a moment to read heartfelt letters from fans, acknowledging how their music has provided solace during difficult times.
