A prime example is the Barelang transmigration area in Batam, which is being developed for data centers. Its appeal lies in adequate electricity supply, a strategic location, and strong connectivity to regional industrial and trade centers. Minister Iftitah noted, "There is a transmigration area in Batam that has great potential for data centers. NVIDIA has even entered the area. Why? Because the electricity supply is available and the location is very strategic."
