The Indonesian Women's National Football Team has secured a historic back-to-back championship, retaining their AFF Women's Cup title by defeating Laos 5-0 in the final match held in Malaysia.

After clinching their first title in 2024, the Garuda Pertiwi team has now proven their dominance in the region with consecutive victories. Indonesia opened the scoring in the 33rd minute through Sydney Hopper, who capitalized on a scramble in front of the Laos goal following a corner kick. Although Felicia de Zeeuw had a goal disallowed for offside earlier, the team's dominance was evident. In the second half, Isabelle Nottet extended the lead with an impressive individual effort in the 48th minute, followed by a goal from Estella Loupatty in the 55th. Felicia de Zeeuw finally found the net in the 67th minute, and Emily Nahon sealed the resounding victory with a goal in the 83rd minute.
