Influencer Arrested for Using Whip Pink Gas for 'Fly' Sensation

An influencer with the initials APG has been arrested for allegedly using Whip Pink, a brand of nitrous oxide (N2O) gas, to experience a 'fly' sensation. The Directorate of Narcotics Crime Investigation (Dittipidnarkoba) Bareskrim Polri confirmed the use of the gas for recreational purposes.

According to AKBP Al Rasyidin Fajri, the APG allegedly sought a sense of euphoria, calmness, and happiness through the use of Whip Pink. The influencer reportedly used the product from September 2025 to January 2026, making 15 purchases during that period.

Investigators obtained this information after questioning APG as a witness in the ongoing investigation into the manufacturer of Whip Pink. The examination of consumers as witnesses aims to understand the effects of Whip Pink on individuals.

Previously, Dittippidnarkoba Bareskrim Polri summoned five individuals as witnesses in the case. In April 2026, the police dismantled a factory in Jakarta that produced N2O gas under the Whip Pink brand. The producer, PT SSS, reportedly lacks the necessary legality and BPOM distribution permits for its products.

The Whip Pink brand involves small gas canisters containing nitrous oxide, commonly known as "laughing gas." The production and distribution network spans 10 cities, with 16 warehouse locations identified across Indonesia, including Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Lombok. The owners of the production site and warehouse are identified as AH, SC, and JH.
