On Monday night, June 15, 2026, Aviation Security (Avsec) officers quickly responded to an incident of a dispute between two people in the Terminal 3 check-in area that caused a commotion and potentially threatened the safety and security of other airport users.

The altercation occurred on the evening of Monday, June 15, 2026. Corporate Secretary Group Head Arie Ahsanurrohim stated that Aviation Security (Avsec) officers were dispatched promptly. Their swift intervention aimed to manage the situation, separate the involved parties, and prevent any threat to the safety and security of other passengers.

Assistant Deputy Communication and Legal for Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Yudistiawan, confirmed that Avsec officers followed standard operating procedures. They quickly arrived at the scene, controlled the situation, and mediated between the two individuals. The parties were then escorted to the Terminal 3 Police Post for further mediation and investigation.
