Inter rally from 2-0 down to beat Napoli at San Siro

Lautaro Martínez completed Inter Milan's dramatic comeback against Napoli with a last-minute goal at San Siro. Inter had fallen 2-0 behind but won 3-2 in a frenetic contest between the two clubs that have divided the last four Serie A titles equally.

Inter started with the greater urgency and pushed Napoli back, but failed to turn its early control into goals. Napoli gradually found its rhythm and challenged Inter's possession, with Stanislav Lobotka and André Zambo Anguissa taking on more responsibility in midfield in the absence of Scott McTominay.

The first half produced chances at both ends and strong performances from both goalkeepers. Napoli emerged from halftime more sharply, scoring twice in three minutes. Matteo Politano opened the scoring in the 49th minute, and Rasmus Højlund doubled the lead shortly afterward.

Inter responded almost immediately. Martínez pulled one back three minutes later, and his team then pressed relentlessly for an equalizer. Marcus Thuram, introduced at halftime for Pio Esposito, found the breakthrough with a header from Carlos Augusto's measured pass. The goal reflected Inter's pressure after Napoli retreated to protect its advantage.

The final minutes delivered the decisive turn. Martínez, who had already gone close with an effort over the bar, struck again to complete the comeback and send Inter to a 3-2 victory.
