Investigation into Styrian police representative for alleged harassment

Authorities in Styria, Austria, have initiated an investigation into a police personnel representative accused of sexual harassment. The allegations surfaced following the distribution of an anonymous letter detailing inappropriate behavior during a celebration at the border post in Spielfeld.

The accused reportedly made verbal sexual advances toward two female colleagues at the event. In one instance, he is alleged to have touched one of the officers inappropriately on the chest. The individual, who represents the Christian Trade Unionists' faction (FCG), is also accused of acting aggressively towards a superior police officer while reportedly intoxicated at the celebration.

Following the emergence of the anonymous letter containing these accusations, the police launched an official investigation. The accused has been temporarily suspended from his duties as a personnel representative pending the outcome of the inquiry. The police confirmed the ongoing investigation to the APA news agency, corroborating a report by the "Kronen Zeitung."
