Investigators seek NCCIA’s help to unlock Mir Raza’s digital footprint

Investigators in Karachi are seeking specialized help from the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) to unravel the murder of young businessman Mir Raza Ali. The police team hopes to access the deceased's digital records and WhatsApp communications to uncover potential leads in the case.

Mir Raza Ali, an IBA graduate and owner of the eatery Wafflix, disappeared on July 28. His bullet-riddled body was discovered the following day in bushes near the Shahi Qila Ground in Gulistan-i-Jauhar. A seven-member police team, led by DIG Amir Farooqui, is actively investigating the murder.

Authorities believe that unlocking Raza's digital footprint could be key to identifying his killers and understanding the circumstances surrounding his death. The investigation team has also recorded the statement of the online cab driver who last transported Mir Raza on the day he went missing. The Inspector General of Police has assured that the police will pursue the case relentlessly until the perpetrators are brought to justice.
