IPC TPK container throughput grows 8% through July 2026

PT IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) has achieved a positive operational performance, recording an 8% year-on-year increase in container throughput for the period of January to July 2026. The company handled a total of 2,171,202 TEUs, a rise from the 2,009,185 TEUs managed in the corresponding period of the previous year. This growth is attributed to optimized services and enhanced efficiency across IPC TPK's operational areas. Senior Manager of Corporate Secretariat at IPC TPK, Daniel Setiawan, stated that this achievement reflects the company's ongoing commitment to operational excellence and strengthened synergy with its customers. The positive trend was particularly evident in July 2026, which saw a 13.7% year-on-year growth in throughput, reaching 353,465 TEUs compared to 310,846 TEUs in July 2025. This surge was supported by strong performance at several terminals, with Teluk Bayur Terminal showing the highest increase at 30.8%, followed by Panjang Terminal (29.1%), Tanjung Priok Terminal (15.2%), and Jambi Terminal (6%).
