Iran's World Cup Team Faces Strict Entry Rules in USA

Iran's national football team has officially secured visas to enter the United States for the upcoming World Cup, a crucial step for their participation.

Despite obtaining the necessary documents, the team's presence in the U.S. will be highly restricted. They have been informed that their entry and departure must coincide with their match days. This means the squad is expected to arrive in the U.S. on the morning of a game and depart on the same evening.

Iran's ambassador to Mexico, Abolfazl Pasandideh, confirmed these stringent conditions, stating, "We can enter in the morning, and we must leave the same day." The Iranian team is basing themselves in Tijuana, Mexico, which is located near the U.S. border, to facilitate these logistical arrangements.

Iran is scheduled to play New Zealand in Los Angeles on June 15, followed by matches against Belgium and Egypt in Seattle. The U.S. military, alongside Israel, launched attacks against Iran on February 28, triggering a war between the countries.
