Iraq Dismantles Armed Network Planning Drone Attacks

Iraqi security forces have successfully dismantled an armed network that was planning to carry out drone attacks on specific targets within the country. The operation, conducted by the Counter-Terrorism Service and the Intelligence Service, resulted in the arrest of the group's members and the seizure of their equipment, including unmanned aerial vehicles.

Haider Al-Aboudi, the official spokesperson for the Iraqi government, confirmed the operation's success in a television interview. He stated that the arrested individuals are currently under investigation. Al-Aboudi emphasized that the government is committed to consolidating all weapons and armed groups under its exclusive control, a process that will be finalized after September 30.
