Israel’s security minister urges Netanyahu to recognize Argentina’s sovereignty over the Falkland Islands

Itamar Ben Gvir, Israel’s national security minister, has urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to recognize Argentina’s sovereignty over the Falkland Islands.

In a message posted directly to his account on X, Ben Gvir said it was time for Israel to make its position public.

He described the islands as Argentine territory occupied by Britain and accused the British of violently taking them from the Argentine people.
