Israeli minister announces 'execution unit' for death row inmates

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir announced the commencement of construction for a specialized unit dedicated to executing individuals sentenced to death. The announcement was made via a video shared on his Telegram channel.

Executions are to be carried out within 90 days of sentencing.
