Izmir Municipality Seeks Bids for Gaziemir Pedestrian Overpass

The Izmir Metropolitan Municipality's Procurement Department has issued a tender for the construction of a pedestrian overpass in the Gaziemir district. The project aims to create a pedestrian bridge connecting the Optimum and Esbaş areas along Akçay Caddesi, a major route in Izmir.

This construction project will be undertaken in exchange for the contractor being granted the right to use a parcel of municipal land (1482 ada 50 parsel) for the duration of the operating period. The tender will be conducted using the "Closed Bid Method" as per Article 35/a of Law No. 2886, with a construction period of 210 days.

The estimated cost for the project is 74,839,513.65 Turkish Lira (excluding VAT), with a provisional guarantee amount set at 2,245,185.41 Turkish Lira. The tender documents are available for purchase at the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality's Road Construction, Maintenance, and Repair Department for 10,000.00 Turkish Lira (including VAT).

Interested parties must submit their bids and required documents by June 18, 2026, at 12:00 PM to the specified address at the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. The opening of outer envelopes containing the bids will take place on the same day at 2:00 PM in the Municipal Council Meeting Room. Financial proposals (inner envelopes) will be opened on June 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the same location.
