Jakarta Honors Punctual Vehicle Taxpayers with Awards

The Jakarta provincial government, through its Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) and PT Jasa Raharja, celebrated exemplary vehicle taxpayers at the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran 2026. This event recognized citizens who consistently met their tax obligations on time.

The appreciation program specifically honored taxpayers who had not defaulted on their motor vehicle tax payments in the last three years and consistently paid before the due date. Bapenda DKI Jakarta aims to foster a sustainable tax compliance culture and reward citizens who set a precedent in fulfilling their duties.

More than 3,000 taxpayers initially met the basic requirements. A scoring system then evaluated their consistent early payments over three years, narrowing the field to 15 top candidates. These finalists underwent verification by Samsat and Vehicle Tax Service Unit (UPPPKB) officials to confirm their eligibility.

As a token of gratitude for their commitment, Bapenda DKI Jakarta and PT Jasa Raharja presented awards. The top prize included five electric motorcycles and gold bars totaling 22.5 grams. The agency views this recognition not just as a reward, but as a symbol of respect for citizens demonstrating high awareness and responsibility.
