Jakarta Police are implementing traffic management measures around the Indonesian Parliament building to anticipate congestion from a protest scheduled for Thursday, August 27.

Several community groups are expected to hold a demonstration in front of the DPR/MPR building. One of the groups involved is the Alliance of United Pati People (AMPB). Their demands include urging the DPR to immediately ratify the Asset Confiscation Bill and implement maximum penalties, including the death penalty, for corruptors.
