Jakarta weather forecast: Cloudy skies expected all day Sunday

Residents of Jakarta can expect a predominantly cloudy day on Sunday, as predicted by the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).

The BMKG's forecast, shared via its official Instagram account @infobmkg, indicates that most of the capital city will be under thick cloud cover from morning through the evening.

Morning temperatures are expected to be between 26 and 31 degrees Celsius, with winds blowing at 3 to 21 kilometers per hour. By midday and into the afternoon, temperatures will rise slightly to a range of 28 to 34 degrees Celsius, with wind speeds decreasing to 3–19 km per hour. Most areas will remain cloudy, though Jakarta Barat and Kepulauan Seribu might experience partly cloudy conditions.

As evening approaches, the weather is forecast to improve. Around 10 PM Western Indonesia Time, the entire DKI Jakarta region is expected to become partly cloudy. Temperatures will stabilize around 28 degrees Celsius, accompanied by calmer winds ranging from 1 to 15 km per hour.
