Jamaica were dethroned as kings of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Under-14 Boys Tier 1 Challenge Series on Sunday after they were outplayed and beaten 4-0 by Haiti in the final played at Cap Cana, Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

Haiti's victory marked the first time Jamaica conceded a goal in the tournament. Jamaica had entered the final with a perfect record, winning their previous four games with an aggregate score of 8-0, including a 1-0 semi-final win over Bermuda.

Wensley Dumorne scored twice early in the second half to take the game away from Jamaica, who trailed 1-0 at half-time and were losing for the first time in two trips to the competition.

Jodeley Sheeck Delmas opened the scoring for Haiti in the 28th minute. Wensley Dumorne then extended their lead with two goals in the second half, scoring in the 39th and 47th minutes. Ronelson Pele Janvier added the final goal in the 59th minute, sealing Haiti's dominant performance.

It was the first time Jamaica had conceded a goal in the tournament after winning their previous four games by an 8-0 aggregate, including a 1-0 win over Bermuda in Friday’s semi-final.

Haiti entered the final as favorites after a strong semi-final performance where they defeated the Dominican Republic 6-1. This win represents a significant achievement for the young Haitian team in the regional competition.
