Japanese Actress Akari Matsukawa to Throw First Pitch at Uni-President Lions' 'First Love' Theme Day

Japanese actress and model Akari Matsukawa is set to throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Uni-President 7-ELEVEN Lions' annual 'First Love' theme day event, hosted by their cheerleading squad, the Uni-Girls. The event is scheduled for August 15-16 at the Asia Pacific Baseball Stadium.

Leading up to the main event, on August 14, the Uni-Girls will publicly perform their fifth original single, also titled 'First Love.' Matsukawa's appearance as the first pitch guest is intended to officially kick off the 2026 'First Love' Girls' Theme Day, promising a beautiful opening pitch.

Matsukawa, born in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, has established herself as a prominent figure in Japan's entertainment industry.
