Jawa Satu Power Plant Operates Reliably, Continues to Support Java-Bali Electricity System

PT Jawa Satu Power (JSP) is demonstrating its commitment to national energy security through the reliable operation of the Jawa Satu Gas and Steam Power Plant (PLTGU). The plant, a critical component of the 500 kV Java-Madura-Bali (Jamali) interconnection system, plays a significant role in supplying electricity to millions across Java, Madura, and Bali.

Currently, both units of the Jawa Satu PLTGU are operational and serving the Jamali grid. Unit 1 recently returned to service after undergoing maintenance, which was completed ahead of schedule. Dwi Murray, President Director of PT Jawa Satu Power, highlighted that operational reliability is the company's top priority. "The completion of Unit 1's maintenance earlier than planned also reflects the readiness and dedication of our team to continue maintaining the reliability of the electricity supply for the community," Murray stated.
