Jaya Military Commander calls for unity to maintain Jakarta's security and order

The commander of the Jaya Military Regional Command, Lt. Gen. TNI Deddy Suryadi, has called for national unity to safeguard security and order. Suryadi made this appeal during a national assembly, themed "Jaga Jakarta" (Guard Jakarta), held at the National Monument in Jakarta on Saturday, June 8. He stressed the importance of Jakarta's stability, stating that a secure capital city strengthens the entire nation. "Let us unite to guard security, order, and unity. Together we guard Jayakarta for Indonesia. Greetings, Guard Jayakarta," Suryadi declared during the event. The assembly saw the participation of approximately 11,000 individuals from various segments of society. The event was planned to be led by the Jakarta Police Chief, Komjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri, and Pangdam Jaya himself. The initiative underscores a collaborative effort between the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, Kodam Jaya/Jayakarta, Polda Metro Jaya, and the broader community to ensure the capital's safety and unity.
