Jimena Barón celebrates 39th birthday with European tour, takes icy plunge in Sweden

Argentine actress and singer Jimena Barón embraced her 39th birthday with an adventurous European getaway, sharing highlights of her journey through Germany, Sweden, and Switzerland with her partner Matías Palleiro and their 11-month-old son, Arturo. The family's travels, which began in mid-May, excluded Barón's elder son, Morrison, due to school commitments.

In Germany, the family explored historical landmarks like Heidelberg Castle and the town of Gengenbach, with young Arturo playfully nicknamed 'Hansel' by his parents. The trip then moved to Sweden, where Barón marked her birthday on March 24. She shared her celebratory mood, exclaiming, “Life gets better when you not only enjoy living it, but also contemplating it. Welcome 39. What a movie!”

A unique Swedish tradition, the 'morgondopp,' became a memorable part of Barón's birthday celebration. Accompanied by a friend, she plunged into the frigid waters of Torekov, a custom involving walking into the sea in a bathrobe regardless of the season. Despite the 3-degree Celsius temperature, Barón took the icy dip twice, emerging exhilarated. "It feels good," she admitted, adding, "Traditions are traditions. The cold! But for some reason it's a spectacular experience and afterward you feel incredible, full of energy."

The couple and Arturo continued their European tour, eventually reaching Switzerland, adding another destination to their memorable family vacation.
