Jinwoo Arrives in Cinemas: 'Solo Leveling' Anime Movie Confirmed

Fans of the popular anime "Solo Leveling" can anticipate a new cinematic chapter as a feature film adaptation has been officially confirmed. Titled "Solo Leveling: Beyond the System," the movie is set to continue the journey of protagonist Sung Jinwoo, following the events of the anime's second season, which aired in 2025.

The film will adapt the original South Korean manhwa, created by Chugong and illustrated by the late DUBU (Jang-Sung-Rak). "Solo Leveling: Beyond the System" promises to delve deeper into Jinwoo's evolution as an S-rank hunter after the emergence of interdimensional portals.

This cinematic venture is a significant co-production involving prominent entertainment companies such as Crunchyroll, Aniplex, Netmarble, D&C Media, and Kakao Piccoma. The animation will be handled by A-1 Pictures, the same studio responsible for the acclaimed anime series, ensuring a consistent visual style and quality.

The story unfolds over a decade after the sudden appearance of portals connecting Earth to a different dimension. This event led to certain humans awakening supernatural powers, becoming known as hunters.
