Joshua Duerksen finishes eighth in Hungary Formula 2 feature race

Joshua Duerksen secured eighth place in the FIA Formula 2 feature race at Hungaroring in Hungary, adding to his season's points tally. The Paraguayan driver began the race from fourth position but a difficult start saw him lose several places. Despite the setback, Duerksen, driving for Invicta Racing, managed to finish within the points-paying positions.

This result came in the final race before the series' summer break. Duerksen earned a total of 6 points over the weekend: 2 points for his seventh-place finish in Saturday's sprint race and 4 points for his eighth-place finish in Sunday's main event. These points have elevated him to eleventh place in the overall drivers' championship standings, with a total of 42 points.

The feature race was won by Noel León of Campos Racing. He was followed on the podium by Kush Maini of ART Grand Prix in second place and Rafael Cámara, Duerksen's teammate at Invicta Racing, in third. Other drivers who finished in the points included Laurens Van Hoepen (4th), Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak (5th), Dino Beganovic (6th), Nikola Tsolov (7th), Gabriele Mini (9th), and John Bennett (10th).
