Joshua fast but can’t bet against Fury – Tyson

Boxing icon Mike Tyson has declared his unwavering support for Tyson Fury in any potential heavyweight clash against Anthony Joshua, citing his deep personal affection for Fury. "I love Tyson Fury. That's why I can never go against him," Tyson told Ring Magazine.

While acknowledging Joshua's punching speed, Tyson suggested Fury could emerge victorious if he strategically avoids Joshua's powerful shots. Both fighters have recently completed their warm-up bouts ahead of their highly anticipated domestic showdown, with promoter Eddie Hearn confirming that contracts for the fight have been signed.

Anthony Joshua's recent performance in Jeddah saw him knocked down twice in the opening 20 seconds by previously unbeaten Kristian Prenga. Joshua dedicated his victory to his late friends, Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele, who were tragically killed in a car crash in Nigeria last December. "It is more than punch power. Meanwhile, Tyson Fury faced less drama in his tune-up fight in Thailand, achieving a seventh-round stoppage against veteran Mariusz Wach. A venue for the Joshua-Fury bout is yet to be finalized, with Wembley Stadium and potential US locations being considered.
