Journalist Alleges Cover-Up in Ex-Wife's Death, Cites Clinic Cleanup

Journalist Erhan Çelik has publicly detailed serious allegations surrounding the death of his ex-wife, Dr. Özlem Gültekin, who passed away on August 14. In a video released on his YouTube channel, Çelik asserted that the clinic where the incident occurred was hastily cleaned before law enforcement arrived, and crucial materials were discarded.

Çelik stated that he has filed a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office regarding his claims. He alleges that the scene was thoroughly cleaned and evidence disposed of prior to the police's arrival. However, he noted that forensic police meticulously recovered these discarded items from a trash container, suggesting a deliberate attempt to conceal information.

Further complicating the narrative, Çelik raised concerns about the clinic's security cameras. He claims that statements were made indicating the cameras were non-operational, yet evidence from another case suggests they were functioning shortly before the incident. Çelik also made startling claims regarding Dr. Gültekin's alleged past use of the anesthetic propofol, stating he only learned of it in 2023 through home security footage. He asserted that records from her phone and laptop indicated how she obtained these substances and who administered them. Additionally, Çelik detailed a contentious divorce process, alleging that demands for 50 million lira and 50% of his companies were made.
