Justin Sun’s explosive allegations over Jing Tian’s reported 130 million yuan engagement payment draw in Big S’s lawyer

A public dispute involving Tron founder Justin Sun and Chinese actress Jing Tian has expanded into a legal confrontation involving lawyers linked to Taiwanese celebrity Big S, or Barbie Hsu.

Sun reportedly disclosed details about his relationship with the 38-year-old actress, including allegations involving overseas surrogacy and a demand for 50 million dollars. He also said he had filed a civil lawsuit over a 30 million yuan engagement payment, valued in the report at about 130 million New Taiwan dollars. Sun later called for a temporary truce, but the controversy continued to attract attention in entertainment and financial circles.

The dispute brought in lawyer Zhang Qihuai, whom Sun hired and who previously represented Wang Xiaofei, Big S’s former husband. Deng Gaojing, who had represented Big S in earlier legal battles against Zhang, offered Jing Tian advice in a post on Weibo.

Deng cited two previous cases. In one, she represented Big S in an online infringement lawsuit against Wang Xiaofei, leading to a court ruling that barred him from posting text or video content about Big S online. In the other, she represented Phoenix Weekly in a reputation-rights case against Zhang Lan, with courts ruling in her side’s favor at both trial and appeal stages.

Deng said the opposing parties in those cases shared a strong ability to use public opinion to generate trending searches. She urged Jing Tian not to be intimidated and suggested that alleged privacy disclosures and fabricated claims could become evidence for criminal and civil proceedings in China and abroad.
