K-pop group BIGBANG to release new song "BiiiG" for 20th anniversary, announces world tour

K-pop titans BIGBANG are set to release a new digital single, "BiiiG," on August 19, marking their 20th anniversary in the music industry. YG Entertainment stated that the single reflects the group's current artistic direction as they celebrate two decades since their debut in 2006.

This release comes after a hiatus of four years and four months, with their last single, "Still Life," dropping in April 2022. BIGBANG, recognized as a trailblazer among second-generation K-pop groups, has achieved global stardom with numerous hits like "Lies," "Fantastic Baby," and "Bang Bang Bang."

The current lineup of BIGBANG includes G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung. Alongside their musical comeback, the group is launching their "XX: Cosmos" world tour. The tour kicks off at Goyang Stadium in Goyang, South Korea, from August 21-23, 2026, and is scheduled to include 33 shows across 19 cities in North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia. Jakarta is confirmed as a stop in January 2027.
