Kahitna celebrates 40 years of love and music across generations

Kahitna is counting down to a concert that its organizers describe as the biggest celebration yet of the Bandung band’s 40-year musical journey. The event, titled “KAHITNA 40 TAHUN,” will take place at the Nusantara International Convention Exhibition in Pantai Indah Kapuk 2, Jakarta, on Nov. 5, 2026.

Promoted by Enjoy Live Experience, the concert carries the poetic theme “Between Irreplaceable Beauty and the Lowest Point of a Most Beautiful Ex.” It is designed to bring tens of thousands of Soulmate fans together around the nostalgia, romance, heartbreak and memories that have grown alongside Kahitna’s songs.

For founder Yovie Widianto, the anniversary represents an emotional bond between the melodies he created and the lives of listeners. “Forty years is not just a number for us. It is 40 years of people falling in love, having their hearts broken, getting married and returning to their homes while singing our songs. Tonight, we do not only want to perform. We want to embrace every one of those memories together with all the Soulmates, as the most sincere thank-you we can offer,” he said at a news conference in Jakarta on Sept. 2, 2026.

Ticket demand has already filled all seated categories, including Super Diamond, Diamond, Platinum Plus, Platinum, Gold and Silver. Festival A tickets cost 1.35 million rupiah, while Festival B tickets cost 975,000 rupiah. Both are being sold through Guehadir.id.

Enjoy Live Experience founder Dino Hamid said the production had been developed to create an immersive journey through Kahitna’s music. Under the stage concept “The Soulmate Journey,” the audience will be invited to experience the band’s history through time. “At this H-minus-three point, everything we have designed for months has finally met reality. It is not simply about chasing a sold-out status, but making sure every Soulmate who comes to NICE truly feels they are standing in the middle of history, not merely watching a concert,” he said.
