Kaohsiung Family Amusement Park Opens August 8 with Free Attractions

Kaohsiung is set to unveil a new family-friendly amusement park on August 8, transforming the former Taiwan Railways Kaohsiung depot into a 1.5-hectare indoor-outdoor space. The park promises over 30 free attractions for all ages, aiming to be a prime destination for families during the summer holidays.

Highlights include Taiwan's first "bubble cloud trampoline," a "Pump Track" for dynamic riding, a dedicated parkour training area, and high-altitude rope courses. These diverse activities cater to everyone from toddlers to seniors, ensuring a wide appeal. Influencers and local groups who previewed the park praised its offerings, with one calling it the "best choice for taking kids out during summer vacation" and another dubbing it the "strongest free summer cooling attraction in southern Taiwan."

The park's professional parkour course received particular acclaim from the Taipei City Extreme Sports Association, noted as Taiwan's highest of its kind. The accompanying facilities were also described as incredibly engaging, making visitors reluctant to leave.
