The sprawling 1.5-hectare facility, boasting 30 distinct play structures and a special summer water attraction, saw its popularity surge from the moment it opened. On Saturday, August 8th, over 30,000 people flocked to the park, with an even larger crowd of 35,000 descending on Sunday, August 9th.

The immense turnout highlights the demand for accessible family entertainment in the region. City officials, while pleased with the enthusiastic reception, are also focused on managing the influx to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all. They have announced that the park will be closed for one day on Monday, August 10th, to allow for essential maintenance and operational reviews. To help mitigate congestion, especially during peak afternoon hours between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., the Kaohsiung city government has issued guidance for visitors. They recommend adopting a three-pronged approach: avoiding peak times, prioritizing public transportation, and following directional instructions for crowd dispersal. For those opting for public transit, the light rail is a convenient option, with stops at Kaisyuan-Wuchang or Kaisyuan-Ersheng stations. During August weekends, visitors can also take the Orange Line MRT to Cultural Center Station and transfer to a free shuttle bus.
