Colombian artist Kapo is carving out a distinct niche in the urban music scene with his "afro rosa" sound. This genre fuses the infectious rhythms of Afrobeat with lyrics focused on respect and love, offering a departure from the more explicit themes often found in contemporary urban music.

I learned after so many years of career and that nothing worked for me that God's time is perfect, but the time you try is not really what will take you where you want to go, you will get where you want, as long as you are clear that it is not on your time.

Kapo, whose real name is not provided, emphasizes his desire to create "clean" songs that steer clear of drugs, crime, and the sexualization of others. He likens his music's effect to a pleasant recollection, evoking feelings of joy and a sense of carefree relaxation, akin to being at the beach despite being in a city.

We are not that dense, we live a busy life but now the conclusion is more pink, more subtle, we enjoy ourselves just the same, but without denigrating. What I carry in my discourse, in these songs that exalt, make me feel happy, that they patch you up.

He believes that societal evolution is gradually pushing audiences and artists toward more positive and respectful themes.
