During the recording process, guided by a vocal director, Katyana adopted the persona of someone experiencing hurt, while Widuri took on the role of a supportive, older-friend figure. To achieve authentic emotion, Katyana focused on looking directly at Widuri while singing, making the delivery feel like a genuine conversation. Despite their distinct vocal colors, they maintained their individual styles, finding a natural harmony by actively listening to each other.
