Kazakhstan President Demands Teachers Be Freed From Non-Educational Tasks

Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has strongly emphasized the need to liberate educators from burdensome paperwork and endless reporting. He pointed out that the nation's educational database is currently undergoing modernization to integrate all government services, a process expected to alleviate teachers' routine administrative workload.

"This last point is critical," Tokayev stated. "Educators must be relieved of red tape, endless reports, and intrusive demands for certification and other useless vetting procedures." He specifically addressed the issue of teachers being recruited for renovation work and various public events that lack a direct connection to the educational process, declaring, "We agreed long ago that this is unacceptable."
