Kazma volleyball team kicks off preparations for the new season

The Kazma volleyball team has officially commenced its pre-season preparations for the new campaign, which is set to begin in early September. Under the guidance of Kuwaiti coach Saad Yaqoub, the team's initial training phase is concentrating on enhancing players' physical fitness through rigorous conditioning and strength sessions. Simultaneously, ball work is being integrated to help players regain their match sharpness.

Coach Yaqoub noted that the squad has reported for training with high spirits, though a few players are absent due to military commitments. National team members Fahad Saad Yaqoub and Ali Saadoun are also unavailable as they represent Kuwait in the Second West Asia Men's Volleyball Championship in Muscat.

Preparations will intensify in early August with the arrival of Brazilian coach Kakarato and the technical staff, along with foreign players Costa from Brazil and Farhan from Indonesia. Kazma is also planning a two-week training camp in Cairo during the latter half of August, pending approval from Kuwait's Public Authority for Sports. Yaqoub emphasized that the program aims to ensure the team is fully prepared for a demanding season, with Kazma targeting success in all competitions.
