KD 188,000 T5 expansion contract moves to pre-audit

Kuwait's Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) has advanced the Terminal 5 (T5) expansion project by referring its associated contract, worth KD 188,025, to the State Audit Bureau (SAB) for pre-audit procedures. This step signifies progress in the airport's infrastructure development.

Further demonstrating proactive management, the Board of Directors of the Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) approved PACA’s request for a ten-day extension on the bid evaluation period. This extension pertains to the tender for operating, managing, and improving training services, as well as maintaining and developing the new Terminal 2 (T2) and providing central maintenance for the airport's model.

PACA's diligent efforts in finalizing these tender procedures are integral to its broader strategy. The authority is preparing to assume responsibility for the operation and management of the new Terminal 2 expansion project, which is currently being implemented by the Ministry of Public Works. This coordinated approach aims to ensure a smooth transition and efficient operation of the expanded airport facilities.
