KDM offers Rp 250 Million reward for capture of fugitive wanted for girlfriend's blinding

West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi, publicly known as KDM, has launched a public appeal, offering a substantial reward for information leading to the capture of a fugitive. The wanted individual, identified as Taufik Hidayat, is accused of a brutal assault on his girlfriend, Yuvita Tri Rezeki, which resulted in her blindness.

The governor has put forth a reward of 250 million Indonesian Rupiah (approximately $16,000 USD) for anyone who can provide information that leads to Hidayat's arrest. This significant sum underscores the severity of the alleged crime and the authorities' determination to bring the suspect to justice.

The case involves a violent attack where Yuvita Tri Rezeki, aged 29, was allegedly blinded by her partner. The announcement of the reward, issued through a public 'sayembara' or competition, aims to mobilize the community in the search for Taufik Hidayat and ensure he faces legal consequences for the alleged crime.
