In a touching tribute to the spirit of volunteerism and community resilience, Taiwan Sugar Corporation (Taisugar) has inaugurated the "Shovel Superman Hall" at its Hualien Tourist Factory. The exhibition serves as a powerful commemoration of the selfless efforts undertaken during the recent dam disaster.

The establishment of the 'Shovel Superman Hall' not only adds a cultural highlight to the park but also allows the public to witness the spirit of mutual aid after the disaster and the resilience of Taiwan's backyard.

The "Shovel Superman Hall" aims to preserve the memory of the reconstruction process and honor the volunteers and civilian forces who participated in the rescue and recovery operations. The exhibition features a collection of rescue items, including shovels, rain boots, and wheelbarrows, alongside photographs and videos that recount the stories of dedication. A 3D model projection of the Maotuan River and a video titled "The Water Came" recreate the disaster scene, offering visitors a poignant glimpse into the event.

Interactive elements, such as a "Shovel Superman" experience zone, allow visitors to engage with the theme of mutual assistance. By lifting different weights of shovels, participants can activate lights that ascend, symbolizing the continuous transmission of goodwill and mutual support. Taisugar emphasizes that each exhibit represents a testament to the spirit of solidarity during the rebuilding phase and a shared memory of restoring homes.
