A generous anonymous donor in Chaozhou, Pingtung County, has provided a significant boost to local firefighting capabilities with a donation valued at 430,000 New Taiwan dollars. The contribution, aimed at enhancing the safety and operational effectiveness of firefighters, includes essential personal protective equipment.

Chaozhou station chief Fan Li-wu highlighted that the donor's primary motivation was to ensure firefighters have superior equipment to face various disaster rescue scenarios. He emphasized the donor's understanding that beyond professional skills, firefighters require high-quality gear to effectively protect lives and property.
