Korban ritual fosters faith, patience, sacrifice: PM Anwar

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim emphasized the profound spiritual and personal significance of the korban (sacrifice) ritual during a ceremony in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. He stated that the act of sacrifice extends beyond religious duty, serving as a crucial element in cultivating faith, patience, and a spirit of selflessness.

Anwar explained that the concept of korban mirrors the challenges faced by Prophets Ibrahim and Ismail, teaching Muslims to remain steadfast and obedient to Allah through life's adversities. He asserted that true struggle and meaningful living are impossible without patience and endurance, virtues intrinsically linked to the essence of sacrifice.
