Korea University Sejong Promotes 'One-Campus' Educational Innovation

Korea University's Sejong RISE project group is actively promoting 'One-Campus,' an integrated education platform designed for universities and citizens in the Sejong region. The initiative aims to foster educational innovation by transforming the city into a unified campus environment.

'One-Campus' is a key project within the regional innovation-centered university support system (RISE) initiative. It operates under the principle of treating the entire city as a single campus, transcending the boundaries of individual universities. Its core feature is the sharing of lectures, research facilities, and infrastructure among universities located within Sejong City.

Korea University's Sejong campus, serving as the lead university for the 'One-Campus' project, has collaborated with participating institutions to conduct on-site promotional activities. Events were held sequentially at Korea University Sejong Campus (June 17), Korea University of Media Arts (June 18), and the Sejong Joint Campus (housing institutions like National Korea University of Science and Technology and Chungbuk National University) from June 18-19. This direct outreach approach aims to increase accessibility for students and boost awareness and participation in 'One-Campus.'

A representative from the Korea University Sejong RISE project group stated, "'One-Campus' is an educational cooperation platform for the mutual growth of Sejong's region and universities." The group hopes that through this event, more students and citizens will experience the diverse educational programs and learning opportunities offered by 'One-Campus.'
