Kosma Cooperative Distributes Record 60% Dividend

Koperasi Serbausaha Makmur Berhad (Kosma) has achieved a historic milestone by distributing a 60% dividend to its 1,469 members, the highest rate since its establishment in 1967. The dividend payment, totaling RM35.32 million, received approval from the Malaysian Cooperative Commission (SKM) for the financial year ending December 31, 2025. This record achievement was driven by Kosma's robust financial performance, which saw its total revenue increase to RM334.24 million in 2025, up from RM290.78 million the previous year. Net profit also rose to RM102.30 million compared to RM84.02 million in 2024, reflecting strong governance, efficient management, and successful business strategies. The cooperative's excellence was further acknowledged nationally when it was named the Sixth Best Cooperative in Malaysia 2026. The high dividend payout is a testament to the members' trust and support, demonstrating the cooperative movement's vital role in enhancing members' economic well-being.
