Kosovo Special Prosecution confirms exhumation in northern Kosovo

The Kosovo Special Prosecution Office has confirmed that an exhumation is currently taking place in the village of Mala Kaludra, near Zubin Potok in northern Kosovo. The operation is focused on identifying human remains and is being conducted as part of two ongoing criminal investigations.

The confirmation follows the broadcast of footage from the excavation site by Dukagjini TV. According to their report, investigators are searching for evidence related to potential mass graves from the period of the Kosovo war. The Special Prosecution stated that the exhumation is being carried out under a court order issued by the Pristina Basic Court at their request.
