Kuwait prepares to re-tender 23 state-owned property projects

The Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects (KAPP) is moving forward with plans to re-tender 23 projects situated on state-owned real estate. The authority has referred Tender No. 2/2025-2026/2025 to the State Audit Bureau for review and approval.

KAPP initially announced this tender in January of the previous year, collaborating with the Ministry of Finance. It invited specialized consultancy firms and consortia, both local and international, to submit technical and financial proposals. The scope of work involves preparing comprehensive consultancy services, including feasibility studies and tender documents for each of the 23 projects.

The selected consultancy firm will be responsible for conducting technical, economic, environmental, and legal feasibility studies. They will also prepare the necessary tender documents and evaluate bids. Furthermore, the firm will oversee the technical, financial, legal, and environmental aspects of each project until financial closure, adhering to relevant laws, including Law No. 116/2014 and Law No. 49/2016 concerning public tenders.

The list of projects slated for re-tendering includes diverse developments such as the Fahaheel Waterfront Development (Al-Kout), Waterfront Phase Five (Marina Mall), two construction waste treatment plants, various markets like International Center and Al-Maseel Market, and facilities like the International Golf Club and Jahra Armored Vehicle site.
