Kyrgyz acrobats win medals, qualify for World Championships in Czech Republic

Kyrgyzstan's young aerial acrobats have achieved remarkable success at an international competition, clinching seven medals and earning berths for the upcoming World Championships in the Czech Republic. The strong performance highlights the growing talent in the sport within the country.

Seventeen athletes, ranging in age from 10 to 17, represented Kyrgyzstan in the air acrobatics tournament. Their dedication and rigorous training paid off, with nine of these young athletes demonstrating the skill and prowess required to qualify for the world championship.

The national team's medal haul included two gold, four silver, and one bronze medal. Officials from the Air Sports Acrobatics Federation noted that the athletes' success is a testament to their hard work and expressed hope that these achievements will spur further development and interest in aerial acrobatics in Kyrgyzstan.

The successful athletes are now preparing to represent their nation on the global stage at the World Air Acrobatics Championship scheduled for autumn 2026 in the Czech Republic.
