'Kyrgyz Agro Holding' Seeks 2,000 Cattle in Tender

Kyrgyzstan's agricultural sector is set to receive a significant boost with "Kyrgyz Agro Holding" announcing plans to acquire a substantial number of high-quality cattle.

The company has launched a tender to purchase a minimum of 2,000 head of breeding cattle, with an estimated budget of 500 million Kyrgyz soms. This initiative is aimed at enhancing the genetic potential of the national herd and increasing overall livestock productivity.

The tender specifies the acquisition of highly productive beef and dairy cattle. The goal is to improve the genetic makeup of the existing livestock and boost reproduction rates. The winning bidder will be responsible for delivering the animals within 14 days of the contract's finalization.

Technical requirements include the procurement of bulls, heifers, and cows aged between 18 and 48 months, with a minimum live weight of 450 kilograms. Accepted breeds include Angus, Hereford, Aberdeen-Angus, Kazakh Whiteheaded, Simmental, Limousin, Charolais, Kalmyk, Holstein, Brown Swiss, and Alatau, or their equivalents. The maximum price per animal is capped at 250,000 Kyrgyz soms.

Suppliers must ensure that the animals originate from farms free of dangerous diseases and possess individual identification tags and all necessary veterinary documentation, including proof of breed. Upon delivery, "Kyrgyz Agro Holding" will inspect the animals for weight, health, and documentation. Animals showing signs of illness, insufficient weight, or lacking required documents will be rejected. Bids are being accepted until July 24.
