Kyrgyzstan Border Service Chief inspects remote border areas

Major General Abdikarim Alimbaev, Chairman of Kyrgyzstan's State Border Service, conducted a working visit to the Leilek district in the Batken region to assess border security and ongoing engineering projects. The visit focused on key border outposts, including Tash-Bulak and Kairagach, as well as the temporary Gosh-Jailoo post.

Alimbaev paid close attention to the infrastructure, facilities, logistical support, and overall organization of border duty. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the situation, he personally traveled to challenging mountainous terrain at approximately 2,500 meters above sea level. During this part of the inspection, he visited areas such as Asman-Jailoo and Terekti, and the Chashmagildan and Naumin passes, where he reviewed strategic directions and received reports from unit commanders.

The Border Service Chief engaged directly with border guards, evaluating their service and living conditions, assessing their equipment, and discussing the daily challenges they face. Measures to enhance the social and material support for military personnel were also a key topic of discussion.

Concluding his visit, Alimbaev expressed gratitude to the personnel for their dedication, resilience, and commitment to protecting the state border. Several servicemen were recognized for their outstanding service, and letters of appreciation were sent to the parents of conscript soldiers demonstrating exemplary duty.
