Kyrgyzstan's Agriculture Ministry launches hotline for farmer support

Farmers and agricultural producers in Kyrgyzstan can now access comprehensive support through a new unified contact center. The Ministry of Agriculture has established the 1210 hotline to provide prompt, high-quality, and accessible information and consultation services.

The center offers free expert advice on a wide range of agricultural topics. These include modern crop cultivation techniques, animal husbandry and veterinary care, seed and plant protection, irrigation, and water resource management. Farmers can also inquire about state support programs, preferential loans, subsidies, and issues related to the production, processing, and sale of agricultural products.

Specialists at the contact center are equipped to provide timely responses and necessary informational support. The initiative aims to streamline access to crucial information, empowering farmers to improve their practices and navigate the complexities of the agricultural sector more effectively.

This move by the Ministry of Agriculture is designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of agricultural operations by ensuring that producers have readily available guidance on all aspects of their work, from farming techniques to market engagement and government assistance.
