Kyrgyzstan's Central Asia Capital Fund Joins Official Delegation at SPIEF 2026, Signs Investment Deals

The Central Asia Capital direct investment fund is part of Kyrgyzstan's official delegation at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2026. Anton Sobin, Chairman of the Board of Directors, spoke at a panel session alongside Daniyar Amangeldiev, Kyrgyzstan's First Deputy Prime Minister. The fund signed two agreements to implement investment projects within Kyrgyzstan during the forum. Amangeldiev described Russia as a "strategic partner and closest ally" and pointed out that Kyrgyzstan has experienced one of the highest economic growth rates in Eurasia, averaging around 11 percent over the past five years. The first agreement involves cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan for the construction of the Central Asia Hub industrial park in the Chuy region. This project aims to develop industrial and engineering infrastructure, attract residents, create jobs, and boost the republic's export potential. The second agreement designates the fund as an investor for developing a Situation Center under the Kyrgyz Republic's presidential administration. Anton Sobin also attended the main plenary session of SPIEF-2026, where Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a speech.
