Kyrgyzstan's Nurdoolot Derkembaev becomes laureate at 'Slavianski Bazaar' festival

Nurdoolot Derkembaev, a performer from Kyrgyzstan, has been recognized as a laureate at the "Slavianski Bazaar" International Arts Festival. Derkembaev secured third place in the "Vitebsk-2026" international pop song competition, a segment of the larger festival traditionally held in Belarus. The competition saw 19 artists from various countries vying for the top honor. The Grand Prix, the festival's highest award, was presented to Rosi Alfano (Soraya) from Italy. The first prize was awarded to Akerke Amalat of Kazakhstan, while the second prize was jointly given to Alexei Osichev from Moldova and Elena Kuznetsova from Belarus. Derkembaev shared the third prize with Vaja Gadelia from Georgia. Additionally, another participant from Kyrgyzstan, Alimkhan Muratov, received a diploma in the children's music competition. The "Slavianski Bazaar" festival is a significant cultural event celebrating performing arts from across the region.
